BELTEC Weighing System Configuration
The BELTEC system is designed for precise weighing of material transported on a conveyor belt. Typically, the FLINTAB BELTEC system has an active length covering 3 conveyor roller sets. The standard configuration includes a highly reliable scale, equipped with premium components for performance and durability in demanding industrial environments.
Main Components:
- Stainless Steel Load Cells – FLINTEC, Germany:
Rated IP68/IP69 for maximum resistance to dust and moisture. These load cells deliver high accuracy and are critical to the system’s overall precision. - Weighing Frame/Roller Supports:
The scale integrates 3 roller supports (spaced between 0.8–1.2 meters), utilizing the existing conveyor belt structure. In addition to the three weighing roller sets, the system also includes two sets of upstream and downstream rollers, with identical dimensions and inclination angles.
This configuration ensures linearity and coplanarity of the weighing system across its entire length, in alignment with the belt and the existing structure.
Installation is straightforward, using bolts, with precise alignment performed according to FLINTAB’s technical drawings to ensure maximum accuracy.
- Tachometer for Speed Measurement – KÜBLER, Germany:
An industrial encoder mounted on the conveyor’s return roller near the scale. It enables highly accurate belt speed measurement, which is essential for calculating flow rate. - Digital Weight Indicator – SYSTEC, Germany:
